EVENT MANAGER

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Manager to join our team for the European Gay Ski Week. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of overseeing over 50 events throughout the week, ensuring each one runs smoothly and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and execute all events during the European Gay Ski Week, ensuring each event meets our high standards.
- Manage a team of Front of House (FoH) staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Liaise with resort staff, vendors, and performers to ensure all logistical aspects of the events are seamlessly managed.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are prepared and maintained to the highest standard.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, and resolve any issues that arise promptly.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within budget.
- Collect and analyze feedback from guests to continuously improve event quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in event management, preferably in large-scale events.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a knack for motivating and managing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Fluency in French and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet.
- Proficiency in handling cash and card payments in a customer-facing role.
- Flexibility to work late shifts during our evening party events.

MOUNTAIN MANAGER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mountain Manager to join our team for the European Gay Ski Week. This role is crucial in ensuring our ski-related activities run smoothly, providing an exceptional experience for our guests on the slopes and in the mountain restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the coordination and management of all ski hosts and ski classes, ensuring a high standard of service and safety.
- Liaise with ski instructors to organize class schedules and manage guest bookings.
- Ensure all ski hosts are well-trained, knowledgeable about the resort, and capable of delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Manage relationships with mountain restaurants, coordinating reservations, special events, and guest needs.
- Monitor and assess the quality of ski classes and hosting services, making improvements as necessary.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise on the slopes or in the mountain restaurants, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other event staff to ensure a seamless experience for guests both on and off the slopes.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

- Proven experience in ski resort management, with a focus on ski hosting, instruction, and guest services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote European Gay Ski Week across all major platforms.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content that resonates with our diverse audience.
- Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and positive manner.
- Foster an online community by encouraging interaction, discussion, and engagement among followers.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and event teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Coordinate live social media coverage during events, including live-tweeting, Instagram stories, and Facebook live sessions.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in social media management, community management, or a similar role.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and social media management tools.
- Fluency in French and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
